Covid-19 vaccine adverse events thus far

See below as the Therapeutic Goods Asspciation (TGA) explains away all deaths and adverse events

Below are quotes directly from the TGA weekly COVID-19 Vaccine safety surveillance reports

Deaths

"Many of these deaths were in frail elderly people and were coincidental with vaccination. However, it is possible in frail older people that even relatively mild and expected adverse reactions following the vaccination may contribute to deterioration of an underlying illness."

Cardiac events: 20, Seizures: 40

"Seizures and cardiac events are being monitored because of a theoretical link with vaccines. These can also occur around the time of immunisation for reasons not related to the vaccine."

Anaphylaxis: 111

"Anaphylaxis is a rare adverse event that can occur with any vaccine. Of the suspected anaphylaxis reports where adrenaline was given are found to be milder allergic reactions or a sudden stress-related response to vaccination."

Guillain-Barre Syndrome: 8

"GBS is a rare immune system disorder that causes nerve inflammation and can result in pain, numbness, muscle weakness and difficulty walking. In many cases it resolves within months or a year or two. A link between GBS and the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine has not been confirmed either in Australia or internationally so it is unclear whether this is simply a chance association."

Facial weakness (Bell's Palsy): 21

"Facial weakness has been reported rarely in clinical trials for Comirnaty"

Loss of taste/smell: 21

"The loss of taste or smell may also be a non-specific symptom associated with feeling unwell."

Erythema Multiforme Skin Rash: 1

"A rare skin rash known as erythema multiforme are being monitored because of a theoretical link with COVID-19 disease. It may also be a non-specific symptom associated with feeling unwell"

Myocarditis: 1+, Pericarditis: 1+

"We are aware of cases reported overseas of myocarditis (inflammation of the heart muscle) and pericarditis (inflammation of the membrane around the heart) following vaccination with Comirnaty. There is no indication at the moment that these cases are due to the vaccine. However, the TGA is monitoring and investigating Australian reports of these adverse events"

Liver injury 4, Muscle Weakness 1

Fatigue was also frequently reported in a survey of recently vaccinated Australians with 45% of people experiencing fatigue after the AstraZeneca vaccine and 21% and 47% experiencing fatigue after the first and second doses of Comirnaty."
